Participation constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules.

1. SPONSOR

The Rare Candy 30th Celebration Scanathon (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Rare Candy Auctions, Inc., 2807 Allen Street, PMB 464, Dallas, Texas 75204 (“Sponsor” or “Rare Candy”). Questions may be sent to help@rarecandy.com.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia, excluding Washington, who are at least 18 years old and the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, directors, contractors and agents of Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising agencies and promotion partners—and members of their immediate families or households—are not eligible.

The Sweepstakes is void in Washington and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on September 16, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on September 30, 2026 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

Sponsor’s systems are the official timekeeping devices.

4. HOW TO ENTER

During the Sweepstakes Period:

1. Download or open the free Rare Candy app.
2. Create or log in to a free Rare Candy account.
3. Use Rare Candy’s free collecting tools to scan an eligible Pokémon trading card or card image.

Each valid scan of a distinct eligible card earns one Sweepstakes entry.

Entrants do not need to own or possess the card being scanned. An entrant may scan a card they own, a card belonging to another person, an eligible card displayed online, or a card image displayed on another screen or lawful source.

No purchase, payment or physical card ownership is required.

5. VALID SCANS

A scan is valid when:

- It is manually initiated through the entrant’s own Rare Candy account.
- Rare Candy’s scanning tool successfully recognizes the card.
- The scan is recorded during the Sweepstakes Period.
- The card is a Pokémon trading card supported by Rare Candy’s scanner.
- The card represents a distinct catalog entry identified by its set and collector number.
- The scan complies with these Official Rules and Rare Candy’s applicable terms.

Each distinct card may generate only one entry per entrant. Scanning multiple copies or images of the same card, set and collector number will not generate additional entries.

Alternate versions recognized by Rare Candy as separate catalog entries may each generate an entry.

Repeated, unrecognized, automated, manipulated, fraudulent or technically invalid scans will not count. Activity submitted through multiple accounts to circumvent these rules is prohibited.

Sponsor’s scan records will determine the number and validity of entries.

6. ENTRY LIMITS

There is no fixed numerical entry limit. However, each distinct eligible card may generate only one entry per entrant during the Sweepstakes Period.

Limit one Rare Candy account per person for purposes of the Sweepstakes.

Creating or controlling multiple accounts, sharing accounts, using multiple email addresses or submitting automated scans may result in disqualification of all associated entries.

7. PRIZES

Three prizes will be awarded.

Grand Prize:

One Grand Prize winner will receive one of each eligible product included in Rare Candy’s 30th anniversary launch and identified on the Sweepstakes landing page as of September 16, 2026, plus 5,000 Rare Candy Candies.

Maximum approximate retail value: $1,200.

Secondary Prizes:

Two Secondary Prize winners will each receive one Pokémon 30th anniversary Elite Trainer Box plus 5,000 Rare Candy Candies.

Maximum approximate retail value: $150 per Secondary Prize.

The maximum total approximate retail value of all prizes is $1,500.

Candies are virtual, limited-use tokens for eligible products and services within the Rare Candy app. Candies have no cash or monetary value, cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for cash or transferred, and are subject to Rare Candy’s applicable terms.

Sponsor may substitute a prize or component with one of equal or greater value if an advertised item becomes unavailable. Prizes are nontransferable. No cash redemption or substitution is permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion.

Limit one prize per person and household.

8. WINNER SELECTION

On or around October 1, 2026, Sponsor or its designated administrator will randomly select three potential winners from all eligible scan entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

Each eligible scan record represents one entry.

The first eligible entrant selected will be the potential Grand Prize winner. The next two eligible entrants selected will be the potential Secondary Prize winners.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

9. WINNER NOTIFICATION

Potential winners will be contacted at the email address associated with their Rare Candy account and must respond within 72 hours.

Sponsor may require a potential winner to confirm their identity, age and state of residence; provide a valid shipping address; complete an affidavit of eligibility and applicable releases; provide required tax documentation; and confirm compliance with these Official Rules.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, responds late, is ineligible or fails to complete the required documentation, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate potential winner may be selected.

Confirmed winners are expected to be announced on or around October 2, 2026.

10. PRIZE DELIVERY

Physical prizes will be shipped at Sponsor’s expense to an eligible U.S. address. Allow approximately six to eight weeks following verification for delivery.

Candies will be credited to the winner’s Rare Candy account after eligibility is confirmed.

Sponsor is not responsible for prizes that cannot be delivered because a winner supplied incorrect or incomplete information.

Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and expenses not expressly included in the prize.

11. VERIFICATION AND DISQUALIFICATION

Sponsor may review account activity, scan records and related technical information to verify eligibility and protect the integrity of the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor may disqualify an entrant it reasonably determines has used automated methods or multiple accounts; submitted duplicate cards as distinct entries; manipulated images, data or scanning activity; interfered with the Sweepstakes; provided false information; violated these rules or Rare Candy’s terms; or harassed entrants or Sponsor personnel.

Sponsor’s decisions regarding entry validity, eligibility, winner selection and administration are final, subject to applicable law.

12. TECHNICAL PROBLEMS

Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected or unrecorded because of device, app, internet, email, network or service-provider problems.

If fraud, technical failure, human error or another event compromises the integrity or operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may suspend, modify or terminate it and select winners from eligible entries received before the issue occurred, subject to applicable law.

13. PRIVACY

Information submitted or generated in connection with the Sweepstakes may be used to administer the promotion, validate entries, prevent fraud, verify eligibility, contact potential winners, deliver prizes, announce confirmed winners and satisfy legal or tax obligations.

Information will otherwise be handled according to Rare Candy’s Privacy Policy at rarecandy.com/privacy.

Entering does not require consent to promotional email or text messages. Marketing consent will not affect eligibility or the odds of winning.

14. PUBLICITY

Except where prohibited, accepting a prize grants Sponsor permission to use the winner’s name, city and state, voice, likeness and prize information for Sweepstakes announcements and promotional purposes without additional notice or compensation.

15. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents and promotion partners from claims arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize.

This release does not apply to rights that cannot legally be waived.

16. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sponsor reserves the right to interpret and apply these Official Rules and take actions reasonably necessary to maintain the fairness, integrity and lawful operation of the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor’s failure to enforce a provision does not waive that provision.

If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will remain effective.

If promotional materials, FAQs or social posts conflict with these Official Rules, these Official Rules control.

17. POWDR BINDER CHALLENGE

The Powdr Binder Challenge is a separate Rare Candy community activation.

Posting a binder page, sharing content on social media, posting in Discord or participating in the challenge does not generate Sweepstakes entries or improve an entrant’s odds unless separate published rules expressly state otherwise.

Any separate prize, judging process or winner selection will be governed by the terms published with that challenge.

18. PLATFORM AND TRADEMARK DISCLAIMER

The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK, Apple, Google, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord or any other third-party platform on which it is promoted.

Pokémon and related names, characters and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Entrants release these third parties from responsibility relating to administration of the Sweepstakes.

19. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Official Rules and the Sweepstakes are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by law, any dispute not subject to an applicable arbitration agreement must be brought individually in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

To request the names of the confirmed winners, email help@rarecandy.com with the subject line “30th Celebration Scanathon Winner List” by October 31, 2026.
